Why We Should Get a 2012 Stimulus Check?

Welcome to 2012 and U.S. economy is still in pretty bad shape. Yet, the government wants to give all kinds of money to businesses, banks and manufactures who will spend the money overseas so they can make more money. Instead, give the money to the people.
This is why I think everyone in the U.S. who pays taxes should get a 2012 Stimulus check for 50 grand. Why? Getting a stimulus check for such a large amount would get the economy rolling in 2012. This is suppose to be a great year for change and hopefully not change in our pockets.
Of course this is not going to happen, this is an idea that I had years ago.
What is the answer to stimulating the economy in 2012?? Here is the simplest solution. This solution is so easy that the our government won’t even consider it.
I think that our government should give taxpayers a 2011 stimulus check of 50,000 dollars. I know it’s a big about, but it’s a drop in the bucket to our federal government.
So how could getting a stimulus check for 50 grand help out the economy?
- It would help the economy from the ground up. Common everyday people would get the money to spend and pay for things they need.
- Getting a 2012 stimulus check for such a large amount would probably take care of the foreclosure crisis as people would catch up on their house payments.
- People would buy more goods and services and even more cars to stimulate the economy.
Are we getting a stimulus check in 2012? Let's hope our government can help the people out instead of all of the lobbyists.

I am a medically retired veteran of the war in Iraq, I have been waiting for damn near 2 years to get a disability rating from the Va. However the social security disability was able to do it in under four months! I am a student, I became a student for two reasons, 1. To further my education so as not to be a burden on society and 2. Because I knew I could take out student loans and whatever I didn't have to use for school (most of it because the Gi bill) I can use that money to help my family survive, I live in a run down 45 year old trailer house with my wife and my parents ( who are unemployed!) I drive a car that shakes so hard you can barely hold it on the road with four bald tires, I used to be a pretty good mechanic, I was training to do it professionally when I was diagnosed with a muscle disease. Brought on by the military, not to mention the two mental problems I have due to my tine in combat. I am having to dig my self so deep into s hole that I will have to repay ( with bloody interest!!!!) later in life just so I can live today, I eat dollar menu food several meals a week b/c the cost of food is ridiculous , I buy clothes (when I can) from second hand stores. They never told me this bs when I signed up. America ( I do love my country, I have pride and honor and no regrets) life, liberty and the pursuit of the repo man when he comes after my car!
Obama already has the answer that will work. He is the answer to all the deficit problems of the world (meant sarcastically, of course). He took away the pay raises of the government employees. If this doesn't work, he's going to have a lot of angry people. The retirees are getting a 3.5% pay raise this year and all the government workers are getting nothing. I think that they should share the raise and at least give us 1.5% and they can keep the 2%. That would make us all happy. I'm stuck with my 2009 paycheck and I'm a single person trying to get by. I'm sure Obama's children aren't sitting down to a 99 cent banquet frozen dinner every night. He probably wouldn't hear of it.
i think the government doesnt want this to go away they are making too much money giving money to companies that is paying them back with interest.if they give us money it takes too long to get back in there pockets.regular people suffer while we have to hear how hard they are working to help. there is no help in the future and we know it OBAMA hs lied to us now were doomed.I think 15000 would be enough to jumpstart a country that we can be proud of
I agree that our Goverment should give the tax payers $50,000 Stimulus Check, for 2012. They will now spend the money to catch up with there house payments, buy or fix there cars. Buy new furniture ect.The problem is that the goverment spends to much time and money worring about bailing out companys like GM Fanny Fa and others. And what do they do with the money? they give them selfs a big fat raise [CEO]I'ts time for the American people to take action and set the Goverment straight. They seem to forget that WE THE PEOPLE put them in office And WE THE PEOPLE can take them out of office.President Obama has no clue on how to fix the problem. He doesent seem to care about people that are strugging just by putting food on the table. Donold Trump was right when he said that China and other countries are laughing at us.We the American people will let our voices be heard by saying, [Mr. President help the USA and the American people and put America back were we belong.]And let the other countrys fend for them selfs. I dont see any other country beating our door down to help us. I think most people will agree with me.
i think people on disability, social security and widowered benefits should receive another stimulus check since they living month by month on a check and the economy is not getting any better especially with the prices going up every time you turned the tv on.and it should be more than 250 dollars

taxpayers should get 50,000 stimulus check if not more for 2012,after all taxpayrs are the ones who helps the gov. and obama keep thier job not to mention the vets they need doubled i think.

I think that we should get a 2012 stimulus check because it's hard out here and we could go and buy things to get the economy together. I think that this would be a good idea.

I think the banks to not need the money, They still have lots. Only the small business and Mama & Papa business and the senior citizens should get the money. NOT the rich.
